Galentine’s Day Wine Cocktails for a Much-Needed Girls’ Night

Coined by Parks & Recreation, Galentine’s Day celebrates the women who show up for you through every season of life. And if we’re being honest, wine is often the glue that holds those gatherings together.

These Galentine’s Day wine cocktails are fun, shareable, and perfect for reconnecting with your girls. These easy to make, crowd pleasing Galentine’s Day wine cocktails are the perfect way to make your friends think you are doing the most!

Sparkling Strawberry Margarita

What girlfriend’s group hasn’t laughed a lot (and probably cried a little) drinking Margaritas? This version steps it up a notch by adding sparkling wine to the traditional bright, festive, and crowd-friendly cocktail.

Ingredients

• Strawberry Purée
• Tequila
• Fresh Lime Juice
• Triple Sec
• Sparkling Wine

Directions

1. This starts as a classic margarita. In a cocktail shaker combine 2 parts tequila with 2 parts lime juice, 1 part triple sec, and 1 part strawberry purée (more if you like it sweet) and shake with ice.
2. Optional – rim margarita glasses with salt or sugar.
3. Add fresh ice to a margarita glass and strain your margarita in to the glass.
4. Top with sparkling wine and garnish with a strawberry.

This recipe can easily be made by the pitcher. Simply top each pour with the sparkling wine as you refill glasses.

When Sorbet Met Sparkling

This is the ultimate Galentine’s cocktail. It’s low effort, high reward, and endlessly customizable. You’ll want to have some spoons handy to scoop up the sorbet while sipping and giggling.

Ingredients

• Champagne or sparkling wine
• Strawberry Sorbet (or your favorite sorbet flavor)
• Grenadine
• Fresh Strawberries for Garnish

Directions

1. Add about 1 tsp of grenadine to the bottom of a coupe glass.
2. Add 1-3 scoops of sorbet
3. Top with sparkling wine (I recommend Paquet Cadeau)

Cotton Candy Champagne

Fun, playful, and guaranteed to get reactions, Cotton Candy Champagne brings instant party vibes to any Galentine’s gathering. You choose if you want to simply eat the cotton candy or drop it in the flute and watch it sweeten the drink.

Ingredients

• Champagne or sparkling wine
• Pink cotton candy

This one is definitely for the sparkling wine purest! Why mess with something that is already perfect? The Cotton Candy is there for dramatic effect. Maybe this Galentine’s Day wine cocktail should be called the Drama Queen.

I used the Paquet Cadeau Sparkling Rosé for my version but if you prefer a sweeter sparkling rosé consider the Sauvé Bang.
